This is the BEST easy no bake energy bites. With only 7 ingredients, most if not all, you already have on your shelf. They are my favorite go to snack, or even breakfast on the go.
My entire family loves them, from the parents, adult children to my toddlers. In fact, my toddlers love them (ages 2 and 5) that they gobble them up so fast!
I like to double my batch and keep some in the fridge and the rest in the freezer. Once my fridge container is empty, I refill from the freezer.
Once my freezer is empty, I just make more.

Ingredients for easy no bake energy bites

OATS
I like to use old-fashioned oats best. You can use rolled oats as well, but they will just be slightly bigger than the old-fashioned oats.
PROTEIN POWDER
I like to add protein powder for the obvious reason, to add much needed protein to our diet. You can use whatever protein you like, but my favorite is vanilla.
Chocolate is a fun flavor to add for all you chocolate lovers.
My favorite brand, and the one I use all the time, is Clean Simple Eats. You can use code: SQUAD10 for 10% off your order.
HONEY
The delicious sticky stuff that helps hold everything together. You can use maple syrup instead.
PEANUT BUTTER
I prefer to use creamy over crunchy in this recipe. You can use what you’d like. You can even use almond butter in place of the peanut butter.
Or switch things up and use a flavored peanut butter. Again, Clean Simple Eats has some awesome flavors. My favorite is the chocolate peanut butter cup. It’s like dessert on a spoon! YUM!
FLAX SEED
Flax seed brings more protein, Omega-3 and fiber to the table.
COCONUT FLAKES
You can choose between sweetened and unsweetened. I’ve used both, depending on what I have and my mood. My children don’t notice the difference when I use unsweetened. That’s a win in my book!
CHOCOLATE CHIPS
There are many choices when it comes to chocolate chips. My favorite are the mini chocolate chips. It makes for a better bite in my opinion. You can use semi sweet or milk chocolate. To mix things up, you could even try a different flavor of chips all together.
My favorite ones to use are the brand Enjoy Life mini chocolate chips.
How to make energy balls
They are super simple! It’s basically a dump and go recipe.
Measure out your ingredients, dump it in a bowl together. Mix with a rubber spatula.
Use an ice cream/cookie dough scoop and scoop into balls. You can either roll them into smooth balls or leave them as is. I’ve done it both ways. In the end, it’s just going to end up in your mouth, right?
